Community Events

GoWeb is all about community. Look at our schedule of events to see what’s coming up on our calendar. Events are structured to share knowledge and resources, encourage feedback and discussion, and allow plenty of engagement with your fellow A&M web and communication professionals.

Have a burning question you’d like to know more about? Submit a talk proposal or idea!

Roundtable Discussions

These events encourage discussion and collaboration around a specific topic. Presenters will briefly share information at the beginning of the meeting, leaving the majority of the time for audience participation. Roundtables will typically be held on second Fridays, every other month.

WEB Talks

These are deep dive presentations that explore a specific topic. Expect to hear from campus experts sharing their knowledge and experiences about a current issue in the web communications industry. WEB Talks will typically be held on second Fridays, every other month.

Lunches & Happy Hours

A time for web communication professionals from across campus to get together socially and share tools and tricks of the trade. GoWeb Lunches or Happy Hours will typically be held on the last Friday of every other month.

Retreats

The GoWeb community will gather together for a half-day retreat once or twice a year. This extended time will allow for in-depth presentations, geek-out sessions over new tools, and give us time to plan future initiatives.
