Join us for our 5th Annual GoWeb Retreat!
The GoWeb Team is hosting our fifth annual retreat and you’re invited!
Join the GoWeb community as we review what has taken place the past year as well as what to look forward to for the next year. We will begin the day’s events at 10:30 with lunch being provided at Noon.
The agenda for the retreat features:
- A presentation on containerization in the web development process.
- A special presentation called Countdown to LAUNCH (Even Astronauts Need a Checklist) strategies for creating successful websites.
- Lightning round discussions on database security, what HTTPS means to your website and accessibility.
- The GoWeb Awards. An opportunity to recognize a group, person or team that created a website, application, or game that exemplifies excellence in one of the three presidential pillars.
- Lots of opportunities to collaborate and connect with web communicators across campus.
The retreat will end around 4:30 p.m., and everyone is invited to head to a happy hour at Carney’s Pub and Grill for more discussion and collaboration.
