Two Texas traditions come together again as Texas A&M and Buc-ee’s build on their growing collaboration.

Texas A&M University’s sesquicentennial marks 150 years of impact, tradition and service. This content package equips campus communicators and partners with the messaging, assets and tools needed to celebrate the milestone consistently and effectively. Together, we will honor our history, amplify our shared story and inspire continued impact for generations to come.

“Here for Good: Celebrating 150 Years of Texas A&M University” invites visitors on an immersive journey through the people, traditions and defining moments that have shaped Aggieland from its beginnings on a patch of prairie to its place as a global research leader.

Texas A&M University will kick off the Sesquicentennial Speaker Series on Oct. 8 with a conversation featuring Aggie inventor and entrepreneur Anthony Wood ’87, moderated by Texas A&M President Susan Ballabina. Wood will discuss entrepreneurship, innovation, the Aggie experience and his perspective on the role Aggies can play in shaping Texas A&M’s next 150 years.

For the second year in a row, Texas A&M University has been recognized with the Fast Company Innovation by Design Award.

Texas A&M University Volleyball player Logan Lednicky ’26 is a fourth-generation Aggie who grew up dreaming of wearing the maroon and white. She chose Texas A&M to continue her family legacy and was part of the volleyball team that won its first national championship.

Lyle Lovett ’79, a four-time Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter, has maintained deep ties to his alma mater for five decades. Those ties are based on the timeless values that make Aggieland special.

Debuting nationally during the Freedom 250 Grand Prix on Fox, this new brand anthem marks the beginning of a historic year of storytelling for Texas A&M University — one centered on service, leadership, research, community and impact.
